BBuuutttt, I wanted to runamock the Santa Cruz hills a bit so a route was put in place. Folks don't come down here very much, so I wanted them to see some great country, and we have some gorgeous roads!!!<br /><br />Nothing is ever easy... sigh... The staging point I called was under construction so had to change it, thankfully all riders checked the forum before leaving and all arrived safely.<br /><br />DON WAS ONLY THERE 1 MINUTE BEFORE KSU!!! Of course, we would not have left without him!<br /><br />Very interesting, there were 3 groups that met at that Chevron, a PGR guy I rode with showed up in coincidence and this other group showed up and asked, are you going.. where we were going.. said yup!!! They joined the group, then THEIR ride leader showed up and said, who them folks!!! Very narrow, Very dark, Very damp, tree stuff on the road...<br /><br />Kinda like a love hate relationship! She was nasty and I loved 'er!! Soooo, I pulled into a vista point and said, I ain't goin' there!!<br />All agreed with me.....<br /><br />Don's writeup is what we did!! Don didn't want to go t0 Alice's, thought it was too busy. So we split up, like Don's blog said Gar led KC and I back to Alice's and after that, I went south on 9, KC went east on 84 and Gar went west on 84!<br /><br />I've only been there a few times, but it looks busy, but folks are visiting, the restaurant is not slow!<br /><br />Very sorry for the last part not working!!! It would've been a great view at Barb's!! They have a giant T with a huge golf ball in top of it by the beach!!!
